Coffee
Which grind should I choose?
Choose whole bean if you grind at home. Medium works for most drip machines and paper-filter brewers. Coarse is for French press and cold brew. For an espresso machine, buy whole bean and adjust the grind for your setup.
Are the tasting notes added flavors?
No. Our coffees are unflavored. Tasting notes describe impressions in the brewed cup.
Is decaf completely caffeine-free?
No. Moonrise is decaffeinated coffee and still contains some caffeine.
What is the difference between a blend and single origin?
Our blends combine coffees to create a chosen flavor direction. Our single origins each come from one country, shown on the product page.
How do I store coffee?
Keep the bag closed in a cool, dry cupboard, away from heat and direct light.
How much coffee is in a bag?
Choose twelve ounces, approximately 340 g, or two pounds, approximately 907 g. Subscriptions use twelve-ounce bags.
